Emily Pike
Executive Director
Emily is a native of Southern Indiana who studied at the University of Notre Dame and the Indiana University School of Public and Environmental Affairs. A veteran of the Peace Corps and a variety of socially motivated organizations, Emily has nearly two decades of experience working in the nonprofit sector. She came to New Hope in April 2012 as Director of Children’s Programming. In October of 2015, Emily founded our early childhood care and education program, then called The Nest at New Hope. In October 2017, Emily assumed the role of Executive Director at New Hope for Families, responsible for operations of both the family shelter and early learning program.
She is passionate about New Hope’s model for disrupting the cycle of homelessness and poverty by serving each member of a family through the housing first and voluntary services model.
