"Round Up" for New Hope this April at Bloomingfoods
When you shop at Bloomingfoods any time in the month of April, you can round up your purchase to benefit the children and families served by New Hope for Families.
Bloomingfoods is Bloomington, Indiana’s cooperatively-owned grocery store. Each month, Bloomingfoods offers shoppers the opportunity to round up their purchase to the nearest dollar as a donation to a different community organization through its Positive Change program.
In addition, during the first week of the month, an anonymous Bloomingfoods donor is matching all donations dollar-for-dollar to amplify the impact of donations from shoppers.
Bloomingfoods has two locations:
Bloomingfoods East

Bloomingfoods Near West

Since it started in 2016, the Positive Change fundraising campaign has raised more than $650,000 for local charities. Two years ago, in February 2022, New Hope received $11,404.29 from the Positive Change program.
Funds received from Bloomingfoods' Positive Change program will help provide nutritious meals and snacks for 48 children from birth to age 5 in our Early Learning Center and also support our “Plot to Tot” education program. Plot to Tot encourages young children to develop positive attitudes toward healthy foods through age-appropriate gardening experiences and meals emphasizing fresh fruits and vegetables.
New Hope for Families provides solutions for children and families impacted by homelessness, keeping families together, helping parents obtain a home with a lease they can afford, and giving kids the good start they deserve for a successful future in school and in life.
Thank you wholeheartedly to Bloomingfoods and to everyone who “rounds up” for New Hope for Families this April!
